| EEL high capacity belt bucket
elevators for greater heights are equipped with steel cable reinforced belts especially
designed for this application. The belt ends are fastened with a special clamping device.
In case conveyed material temperature is high temperature resistant rubber mixtures are
used as belt materials. An automatic tensioning device developed by EEL ensures
correct belt tension under a variety of operating conditions, prevents slack belt
operation and reduces the resultant wear of the return pulley. The boot pulley is a cage
type with material deflection cones. The mounting segment for buckets is a EEL
development. A creep drive is used for maintenance and inspections. A hydraulic fluid
coupling between the main drive motor and the gear box ensures smooth start ups and acts
as an overload protection. Material level indicator, motion detector and belt-sway
switches are standard controls and safety devices. The bucket elevators have
self-supporting single or double casings, made of sheet metal and feature large
maintenance and erection doors.
