Electronically Controlled Rotopacker |
| Roto Packer - Vertical Impeller System |
EEL started manufacture of Rotopacker in collaboration with Reputed European Manufactures in the year 1988. During the period of its collaboration, which it had till 1998, EEL absorbed the complete technology including manufacture and testing of electronics. EEL has improved many of the features in its machines which can be seen in its latest design of Packers with larger size of Impeller Box, re-positioning of 3 position cylinder to reduce the consumption of spares. Also Solenoid Block has been placed outside the Electrical Panel to avoid opening of Panel Door for maintenance. This has resulted in improved performance and better reliability of EEL's Rotopackers.

EEL has supplied more than 450 Roto Packers out of which 44 numbers were supplied during 2005-2006. For details of supplies, please click at "Supply List".

EEL has replaced several MVT, Germany's Roto Packers in India by its Packer without much alterations in the existing building structure of MVT's machines. EEL has replaced 2 Nos Moller Packer in India by its own components. |
EEL has also replaced several FLS mechanical packers in the Indian cement factories. |
From a remote station/ computer, filling parameters can be changed in each spout without the stoppage of Rotopacker. Two way data communication is also possible. |
Data processing system is available along with facilities for printouts and storage of Data. |
| The following output capacities can be achieved with cement products using EEL's ROTO-PACKER. |
| 3 Spouts | 900-1,100 bags per hour |
| 4 Spouts | 1,200-1,400 bags per hour |
| 6 Spouts | 1,800-2,200 bags per hour |
| 8 Spouts | 2,200-2,600 bags per hour |
| 10 Spouts | 3,300-3,600 bags per hour |
| 12 Spouts | 4,000-4,500 bags per hour |
| 16 Spouts | 5,000-5,200 bags per hour |
Higher actual peak capacities have been achieved in several plants. |
| Saddle Height Adjustment for Different Bag Length : |
For varying bag lengths, the packer saddle height can be automatically adjusted. In this way it is possible to avoid time loss in making these adjustments manually. This saddle height adjustment can be executed for only 2 lengths or in steps. The infinitely adjustable design is motor driven and different saddle heights can be stored along with the parameters for product type, the saddle height being re-called when the product type is selected. We also have pneumatically operated design for saddle height adjustment. |
| Quick Emptying Facility for Range of Products : |
When the Roto-Packer is to be used for packing a variety of products, it may be a requirement to empty any product left in the machine prior to selecting a different product. A second flap valve outlet is provided within the impeller system, whereby the remaining product can be emptied back into the spillage return system. The weighing systems used by us, are built and designed to reflect the latest operational requirements. It is therefore possible to compensate for weighing errors resulting from the following factors :
1. Build up of product on the weighing mechanism. 2. Changes in flow rate caused by changes in product (consistency, temperature and bulk density etc.) 3. Product loss during bag structure on conveyers. |
